BICO | Thesis Project | 2009
BICO is the first comprehensive urban bike-sharing system developed for Budapest. It won several awards, and captured the interest of design professionals and city officials alike.
This modular system can be adapted gradually to different urban terrains. Interactions - from user interfaces to bike docking - were designed in a simple, unambiguous, and easily accessible way.
Sustainability and feasibility were dominant factors all through the design process - from low-tech production solutions to the special security approach for the region’s communal characteristics.
BICO’s unique looks and special accessories were designed with a vision of a major communal brand interwoven into more than one layer of urban life.
Személyes térre mindenkinek szüksége van, főként egy zsúfolt, zajos irodai környezetben.
A TATU bútorcsalád ezt teremti meg: az asztal felhajtható elemeinek segítségével egy privát oázist hozhatunk létre, ám valódi elszigeteltség nélkül.
A terv sokat merít a rovarvilágból: a szék lábainak organikus káosza valamint a szelvényes kialakítású burok és az ezzel harmonizáló szék is innen nyerték formájukat.

Workplaces and other communal spaces are usually overcrowded, noisy and lack privacy. So how can one concentrate in such a place?
TATU gives you the needed personal space: with the help of the table’s movable elements, a temporary solitary space can be created.
The concept is inspired by the world of insects: the organic chaos of the chair-legs, the segmental forms of table and the chair were all based on features of different bugs.
XYZ | 2006 XYZ tap has a playful approach to geometry. Its clear, straight lines represent the three axes, which are in peaceful harmony when the tap is closed. When you open it, the structure disintegrates, movement and dynamics take the place of rest and harmony.
képekA Tricsuklii egy többfunkciós tricikli 2-5 éves gyermekeknek.
Ülésmagassága állítható, így alkalmazkodik a kisgyermekek gyors növekedéséhez. A hátsó kerekek nyomtávának változtatásával kétkerekűvé alakítható, így segítve a gyermeket a biciklire való átállásban.
Ezenkívül összecsukható, így kisebb helyen tárolható, és könnyebben szállítható - ez nagy segítség például a lift nélküli házakban.
A tricikli dinamikus formavilága a járművek közé emeli a játékot. Fából készült, hogy növelje a gyermekek természetes anyagok iránti szeretetét.
TRICSUKLI | multi-function tricycle | 2008
Small children grow so fast, they are constantly given new and bigger clothes, toys, furniture.
Tricsukli stays with them for a longer time: its adjustable seat height makes it fit for them from 2 to 5 years old. By changing the gage of the rear wheels, it can even be transformed into a bicycle, helping the child adapting to real bicycles. It’s foldable for easy storage and carrying - a great help in houses without elevators.
A #22 széket az egyik nagymúltú japán szövetség, az IFDA fabútor-pályázatára készítettem.
Elképzelésemmel a hintaszékek klasszikus felfogásával próbáltam szembehelyezkedni, és egy kecses, akár nőiesnek is mondható széket tervezni. Oldalirányú hintázása a klasszikus kényelmi funkció helyett az egészségügyire helyezi a hangsúlyt: ez a fajta mozgás megmozgatja a gerincet, jótékony hatással van a háttartásra. A túlbillenést a vázra erősített kis faelemek gátolják meg.
A szék legfontosabb esztétikai inspirációja Sori Yanago pillangószéke, melynek a #22 egy modern adaptációja, a hintázás funkcionális előnyeivel kiegészítve.
A szék farost lemezből, hajlítással készül. A szék geometriája és ez a kiképzés teszi lehetővé a szék finom rugózását, ami a székhez készült speciális formájú párnával kombinálva kifejezetten kényelmes ülőkévé alakítja a #22-t.
#22 CHAIR | 2008
I designed the #22 chair for the 2008 wood-furniture competition held by one of Japan’s historic organizations, the IFDA.
My design confronts the traditional rocking-chair concepts with its sleek, very feminine forms. Its sideways-rocking ability is good for the spine, and improves posture. Overturning is blocked by the small wood-pins in the base.
#22 is a modern adaptation of Sori Yanago’s butterfly chair - with added rocking functionality.
It is made of bent plywood, which together with the curvy shape makes the subtle suspension possible. Combined with the specially formed pillow, the #22 is a very comfortable seat.
A tervünk első díjat ért el a Műemlékek Nemzeti Gondnoksága által kiírt ajándéktárgy pályázaton, ahol Magyarország kastélyaihoz kapcsolódó szuvenírt kellett készíteni.
Kollekciónkban a barokk épületek ornamentikus elemeit emeltük ki és valósítottuk meg egy elegáns, visszafogott és kortárs megjelenéssel.
Az ARISTOCLIP egyrészt ruhára tűzhető dísz, másrészt papírt, borítékokat, névjegykártyát foghatunk vele össze, pénzcsipeszként illetve könyvjelzőként is használható.

‘Aristoclips’ won 1st prize at a national souvenir-design competition, centered around the theme of Hungary’s castles.
Our collection is a fusion of traditional baroque architectural ornaments and contemporary design, interwoven into current everyday life.
These multi-functional clips can be used as fashion accessories, for money- and paper clipping, or as a bookmark.
A klasszikus építőjátékot kis faragással, ragasztással és festéssel egészen új, szórakoztatóbb játékká formáltam.
Az alapötlet egyszerű: a lyukas építőkockaelemekből felépített várban kis üveggolyók gurulhatnak végig. Az utat a külső piros festés mutatja.
A kiemelkedően készségfejlesztő játék érdekes a gyerekek számára, melyet az óvodai tesztek sikere is bizonyított.
CUBEE | 2006
I took the classical toy building blocks and with a little carving, glueing and painting, turned it into a lot more entertaining toy: the child can roll marbles through hollow building blocks. The red paint on the sides helps building complex routes for the balls. The prototype has 27 blocks of 7 different kinds and a bridge unit. Beyond being exceptionally skill-developing, the many possible structure variations make the experience different each time played.

I believe good design needs to be a reaction to the surrounding world: social problems, physical surroundings, human needs and limitations, cultural and economic factors. An interdisciplinary approach is necessary for the designer, that’s why I studied - beyond my primary design studies - architecture, aesthetics and cultural anthroplogy in prestigous Hungarian universities.
